"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world; indeed it's the only thing that ever has."
- Margaret Mead
"If you will not fight for your rights when you can easily win without bloodshed - if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly - then you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a small chance of survival.
There may even be a worst case : you may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Winston Churchill

EMAIL POLICY

Due to the nature of our activities, we often receive unpleasant emails.
Such emails are as a matter of policy forwarded to the particular service provider, who are usually quite prompt in cancelling that email address.
We also recommend that rather than provide us with their main email address, persons who wish to correspond with us set up a free email address eg with Yahoo or Hotmail so that they can replace that address without undue consequence.
We do not require your name or object to your using a pseudonym as far as queries are concerned.
We keep a copy on file of all our replies.
We do not send or accept attachments, and any email with an attachment (unless you have made a prior arrangement with us) that purports to come from us, does not do so, and we recommend it be deleted without opening it.
We also do not ask for any money or personal details by email.
Membership applications of course require personal details to be provided, but as a security measure we ask it be faxed to us as opposed to being emailed.
Any request you may receive that purports to come from us and requests money or personal details, is not a sanctioned email from us. We recommend you forward such an email to the SAPS and the particular service provider.
We would appreciate a copy.
Any announcements, changes, requests etc are not valid unless announced on our website.
By contacting us or requesting any response from us by email, you absolve us completely from any consequences thereof, especially with regards to any damage caused by viruses, trojans, worms etc.
For just such a reason, we do not have a mailing list.
